As an intown girl my friends all find it very funny that I decided to send dad with the kids for all their Sat. activities & head out to the country for a poultry swap! Holy cow! I has SO much fun! I almost walked out with nothing, but ended up with 6 new hens & a TURKEY!!!! I am a little nervous about the turkey. I hope he settles in, but right now he is a little crazy. Also, I hate the adjustment period for the new hens…I don’t enjoy the whole “pecking order” thing. Why can’t everyone get along????
So, I have 2 new silkies (blue & white), 2 blue laced, red wyandottes & 2 baby red, copper marans. Wow!
